Nungara "Sumauma" Sticker

4.00 - 5.00

"Sumauma" is the first single ever released by Nungara and it's also the name of one of the biggest trees found in the Amazon Rainforest.

"I created this artwork using linoleum cut, an art technique very traditional in the Northeast of Brazil, where I come from. It consists in carving a design into a linoleum sheet (or wood) to later be inked and used as stamp.

For this piece I wanted the tree to have a fiery characteristic to it, since the song talks about the fires in the Amazon forest. The arch behind the Sumauma tree represents a hopeful rising sun." - NdA
